The Friends of Cascade Park Community Library is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the umbrella of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation. Each Friends group in the region has its own bylaws, officers and members.

In 1996, a group of volunteers organized to become the Friends of Cascade Park Community Library.
A Board of Directors elected annually, serves from October 1 to September 30. The Bylaws (Rev. 07/17/2024) set the terms of office for the five Executive Officers to be staggered and for two-year terms.
